About the Author
Doctor Heineman is a retired professor of medicine certified in the specialty of internal medicine, as well as former director of the Public Health Laboratory in Philadelphia. Although in writing this story he has drawn on his experience in medicine, all of the events and all of the characters (some of whom first appeared in the novel Eden’s Garden) are purely fictional.
